We could’t go through the month of March without posting up something for you guys, so we’ve decided to just bunch everything into a super sized podcast double feature of Alita: Battle Angel and Gundam NT.
(0:00 – 1:02:10) Review: Alita: Battle Angel – Hitting off one of the super anime type movies for the month of February is the acclaimed Alita film, which did not get the type of negative feedback like Ghost in the Shell got a while ago. Both Dustin and Jonn go into the film and compare the film setting to what was used from the manga/anime. This also gets them talking about other fine films from Robert Rodriguez, the future of upcoming “soon to be” anime-to-live action films, don’t ever buy a Mitsubishi Mirage and much more.
(1:02:10 – 2:32:03) Closing Remarks from early March: These are more recent discussions from when we recorded this segment at the beginning of this month, to include topics such as Dustin going to AgamaCon and SC Comicon, chilling with Tiffany Grant (EDIT: Check our Review section for our Tiffany Grant interview because the audio link to the Tiffany Grant interview showed up on iTunes instead of our real podcast episode, so hopefully by removing the link that was here before that should get things fixed), getting to meet WWF wrasslers, Dustin chair breaks mid-recording, the Meson saga update, the epic Joe Rogan/Alex Jones Return episode talk(aka SCREW YOU JONES, WE OUT DID THE LENGTH OF THAT PODCAST SUCKAHHH!), Dustin and Josh troll Ghost on his new show, RIP Jan Micheal Vincent and Keith Flint and much more.
(2:32:03 – 2:33:14) Rightstuf Promo
(2:33:14 – 3:17:30) Review: Gundam NT Narrative – This was recorded at the end of February, which cinematic time wise it’s what came next in theaters after Alita. This particular film was a first for Gundam in America, since it’s the only Gundam property to make it to the big screen (and did so successfully than say another film), but was meet rather poorly, at least to Dustin point of view when he was awake during the film. Both Jonn and Dustin had different ideas on what the film could’ve been, which Dustin would’ve been fine with a Kelly’s Heroes Gundam type movie the way it should’ve been. This also discuss the biggest Unicorn podcasters in the past few years, some Alita talk and much more.
(3:17:30 – 4:54:19) Closing Remarks: Only a handful of things to discuss in this one, but one in particular just made us a pure VICtim to the online drama surrounding the whole #KickVic fiasco. This also includes shady Filipino eBay people, our thoughts on that Green New Deal bouncing around out there, RightStuf Gundam talk, what would America be like if John McAfee got elected as our next president and much more.

AoY Podcast #100 – Night on the Galactic Railroad Review (w/ Jeff)
Also known as: “I couldn’t careless about Kennith Boner in any way!”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 1:38:50)
LOOKS LIKE WE MADE IT!! 100 episodes, 100 reviews, 100 crappy stories of closing remarks, and more than 100 followers to our site! Well, we decided to do our special review for this episode on Night on the Galatic Railroad as request from Jeff from the Daily Anime Podcast.
(0:00 – 48:00) Review: Night on the Galactic Railroad – So for our special 100th episode, Jeff has graced our presence to taking a ride on the galactic railway to your imagination.. maybe. Galactic Railroad may also be the sleep aid to your insomnia, or your children, which can work with Odin: Photon Space Sailor Starlight. This is an anime that means a lot to Jeff, which Dustin can see some of that in the film. We also dive into off topic (and semi-0n-topic) items such as how we got banned from Twitch.tv for streaming anime/movies, religious and Christian beliefs, how current anime fans get anime compared to the days or finding them at rental stores, and a little more added in. Also to note, Dustin did zero editing to this episode, because screw it, were doing it live!
(48:00 – 1:38:50) Closing Remarks: Oh boy, so much has happened since Jonn and Dustin sat down in front of the mics, and boy is their tales to tell. Everyone has their view on how the election is going, even our non-fellow capitalist Ghost from TCR. On the brighter side, love_that_goku is back and Jonn recants the current events in his life, even how LTG is trying to make his own path from Ecuador to Beirut. We spend too much time on a former ToonZone member and his sexual endeavors, and of course talking about whatever else. All this and much more in our grand 100th episode, and hope for another 100 more!!
Music Selection:
OP – No better way to celebrate our grand one oh oh episode with some eurobeat music
ED – Vote Mike “Race Bannon” Pence 2016!
This show has:
He is a man who makes his own path, his own destiny… welcome back love_that_goku…
If your gonna buy something to ride, make sure you can ride it…
This is how true anime fans roll on getting their anime…
AoY Podcast # 49 – SpringCon Report Pt 2 (Animazement 2014)
Also known as: “I guess I should call this the Windjammers Con.
And also: “Wait, so Robocop is trying to put together a puzzle of a naked woman?”

So to keep up with putting out these late convention reports, Zeonic was able to report on his yearly trek to the convention land that is Animazement, that was about 3 months ago. There is really no side conversation in this one, well, minus a few things here and there as per usual.
(0:00 – 1:01:37) Convention Coverage Part 1: This had certain things Zeonic griped about regarding the parking situation in areas, comic book shop owners (which prompt Zeonic to get the Zillion CD he mentioned), Zeonic hooks up with friends to play Windjammers and other strange arcade games, meeting up with other podcasters, the issues that college campuses face regarding running anime conventions, THE TRUTH regarding what happens to Kill La Kill cosplayers in the dealers room, THE TRUTH on those damn idiots who start Marco/Polo at these conventions, and more TRUTH after the promos…
(1:01:37 – 1:04:24) Promo’s: Since we went ahead and mentioned these people on our show (and from what we gather they did the same for us on theirs) we got a promo from Alpha Counter, Mating Habits of the Modern Geek, and our old homeboyz The Daily Anime Podcast (which BTW Jeff, when are you gonna keep doing Pokemon Unicron Brothahoodz? I sent you my recording over a month ago, what are you doing with it dawg?)
(1:04:24 – 2:09:35) Convention Coverage Part 2: Zeonic starts off by having Trish Ledoux point Zeonic in the right direction to see the man that every old school anime fan wants to see (and those who gave them their hard earned Kickstarter money), Robert Woodhead. After talking to Robert for a spell, Zeonic went on a spell as well regarding the issues of Animazement handling their “rules” in terms of autograph lines, more TRUTH on overestimating the Gundam fans in anime conventions when it comes to having line limits for autographs, going to the Gundam Rising panel late (you can see the part 1 and part 2 of the panel at those links), getting the sweetest hookup from Toshifumi Yoshida, Legend of Galactic Heroes talk, MORE TRUTH on anime fans at conventions who would rather torrent every damn thing than spend any money to helping the industry, finding obscurely rare anime books from the past, Zeonic idea to do an anime convention “reenactment,” and a ton more to say.
Music Selection:
OP – The current theme for all Gundam fans in America…
ED – Greatest arcade game ever…
This show has:
Windjammers…. in a nutshell, basically.
A game that should not be out in public view, just saying
14 years later, Robert still has his charm to anime fans… (just imagine 2 and a half hours of this guy, its great!)

That is how you should post in cosplay photos… (aka Evangelion in a nutshell)

BEHOLD, THE “TRUTH” OF ANIMAZEMENT IN ACTION!!!

Here is another example of “THE TRUTH:” You can count on one hand the amount of people at anime cons who care about Macross Plus these days…

The real question is, are you the type of person who would pay 550 bucks for Giant Gorg anything? A harsh reality indeed.
AoY Podcast #43 – Gundam Month The Fourth: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Ep 7: “Over the Rainbow” Review
Also known as: “That must be the worst kind of hell ever to chase after Lalah forever…”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 1:16:03)
Well, this is going to conclude our Gundam Month segment for quite a while, until there is new Gundam to come out to talk about. After over three years of podcast’s between different names and people, we are here to finally finish out our Gundam Month segments; as we dive into the newtype rainbow of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Episode 7: Over the Rainbow.
Gundam Unicorn 7 was able to answer some questions to a lot of Gundam fans as to “kinda” tell what happens after Char’s Counterattack, as we discuss the events and story behind this final OVA spanning over 4 years now. You can expect to find giant mobile armors with TONS AND TONS OF GUNS EVERYWHERE, newtype acid trips, newtype ghosts, colony lasers, and how newtypes were destined to have political positions. We were able to have Andy from the Daily Anime Podcast join us to talk about this OVA, which got us to talk about the new Godzilla movie in the beginning of this recording, angry autistic’s on tumblr, autistic’s against Funimation getting Gundam, catching Andy up on our favorite LolCow, us bro’s having bro crushes on Suichi Ikeda, (I ment to say George Washington not Thomas Jefferson for those history people out there, my bad), how smoking is an issue in Universal Century (the quote is found somewhere on this page but I’ll post the quote after this paragraph), bad writers and more general Gundam talk plus more than that.
Here is the quote Jonn used in his closing remarks: “The poison called tobacco, which was once almost extinct in the old ages, still lingered in the days of Universal Century 0096. This was the result of tobacco quality improving as a result of the space age, like the reduction of tar to reduce the negative effects on the human body and the intricate machines, and the development of chemicals that combust at low temperatures in tobacco, but most people felt that the biggest reason for the revival of tobacco was the One Year War.”
Music Selection:
OP – We go over the rainbow and beyond with this Gundam OVA
ED – You can try and connect the rainbows all day, but you still might end up with nothing

How you can totally judge an American voice actor over one out of context tweet by autistic people
