This should’ve came out 2 months ago, but it didn’t, but better late than never. 10 years of doing this podcast, like dang. It’s the ususal fare that we’ll treat this as our holiday/general discussion episode with a minor review thrown in. So here we go.
(0:00 – 59:00) The blabbling of blabblers that like to blabble 2023 Edition: We’re going all over the map in this episode, so just chill out and enjoy. There’s plenty to talk about that happened the last two months of 2022. So we got our hot takes on when Vic Mignogna didn’t wear pants to a stream and the crazy VA’s that had their opinions on that, Ye on Alex Jones , American Political Redneck drama in the House / Midterms, the Dan Crenshaw/Solidus Snake conspiracy, and much more
(59:00 – 2:34:16) A “no craps given” Review of Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park / Christmas talk blabbling: I think Jonn and Dustin spend about a total of 10 minutes talking about this forgotten Kiss movie, which gets wrangled in with Limited Run Games drama. Then this goes into how our Christmas went with Jonn talking about Lupin the Third films, David Lynch filmogrophy, our thoughts on book-to-movie adaptations, fansub/anime licensing talk, and much more. Dustin goes on to say how his Christmas was filled with busted pipes and overtime because Hell froze over and came to South Carolina during Christmas, along with seeing NC State lose yet ANOTHER bowl game, and seeing a dead body in ATL on New Years Eve. All this and more in this episode…

Better late than never right, even when your almost 5 months from when you released your last episode. Well were back with a nearly stacked deck of a podcast because we just want to release out stuff like a Tankobon no one asked for. Here is another 3-in-1 recording with our official review of Netflix Cowboy Bebop, The Batman and smooshed into the middle is a closing remarks segment of news that happened long ago that no one cares about it now, but here it is!
(0:00 – 1:26:21) Part I: Cowboy Bebop (Netflix) Review – Back in late February we recorded our episode about this Netflix series after Jonn had a chance to sit down and watching, and fully admits that Dustin was correct in how great of a show it was, issues and all. Of course, another big worldwide event happened that we had to talk about before going into Bebop, and that is the Russia v. Ukraine War/Conflict/Skirmish/whatever historians are going label this in about 50 years. We give our initial thoughts on what was coming out through the media and other news sources at the time for about 37 or so minutes before we just said “We’ll were not doing much to solve this, let’s just talk about Bebop.” Also included is Dustin talking about how he can’t figure out a 3D printer, old Cartoon Network program blocks, why RightStuf is releasing Gundam Seed so freggin high, and much more!
(1:26:21 – 3:03:07) Part II: The jammed packed gooey-ooey Closing Remarks Special – We were about to do it, we were gonna talk about Batman… and then we didn’t. Instead of caped crusader talk, its filled with Ruskie crusader talk of the Ukraine war one month later (and the people on the ground reporting on it NSFW), RIP Gilbert Gottfried, The Slap Heard Around The World, Dustin being on The Dad’s Anime Stashe Podcast Trivia Contest (and winning it hands down), DeSantos vs. Disney Corp, Dustin being a guest to talk about AMV’s, the destruction of food processing places in America, Global and American politics, The legacy of Toonman, vtuber interviews Van-Pires actor, and much more!
(3:03:07 – 4:45:27) Part III: The Batusi of high class Cinema – We Did It, much much later than we wanted too, but its done. We talk about The Batman. Daft joins in as our special returning guest to give his thoughts on the film, and more insight on the Rise and Fall of Toonman. This also includes comic book store talk, political comics in the 2000’s, History of Batman comics, The Fast and Furious movie franchise, past podcasts, Sports Talk with Daft and Dustin on the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, Dustin recounts the Halo TV series, creepy twitter users and a whole lot more!

AoY Podcast #164 – Hathaway’s Flash / Book of Boba Fett Review
This show has: “…There’s nobody else in my (…) space suit, why do I have to wear a mask?”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 2:10:54)
So you thought it might be another couple of months before our next episode, well we’ve come to prove you wrong! We got a double dose of content in this batch with our review of Hathaway’s Flash and The Book of Boba Fett.
(0:00 – 44:55) Opening Remarks – Somehow “Ok so let’s start talking about Gundam” turned into a hodgepodge of closing remark material to kick off this episode. But hey, its all good. This gets into probably the podcast no one asked for that requires a YouTuber to give commentary on, the Shenmue anime that is on Toonami, differences of electrical outlets in different parts of the world, video gaming talk, Dustin having the ability to watch whatever he wants to on physical media, coming back around to Sol Bianca, Discotek media releases, crazy girls online, how to promote 90’s nostalgia for GenZeerz, minor Chris Chan talk and a few more things.
(44:55 – 1:28:04) Review: Hathaway’s Flash – So far this is the best Gundam to happen to Gundam in a decade (minus Unicorn probably). For a film that came out last year that is adapting a book from 1989, both host find great promise in where this story is going to lead the viewer in the next two films. This gets into The Great Reset talk, politics in Gundam, an upcoming re-enactment of what Dustin believes Bright Noa is going to do to Hathaway, anime releases on Bluray, the world of Crowdfunding, Dustin first thoughts on Bean Bandit Kickstarter release, and much more.
(1:28:04 – 2:10:24) Review: The Book of Boba Fett – Both Dustin and Jonn were very impressed with the latest Filoni series by Disney+, and both go into detail on what they liked and didn’t like about the series that has been properly named The Mandalorian Season 2.5. This also gets into Star Wars canonical debates, general Star Wars talk, Dustin fouling up once again on who is going to win the Super Bowl, WILL THERE BE ANOTHER PODCAST WHEN WW3 STARTS?!?!, and much more.
Music Selection:
OP – It’s actually a pretty good Gundam…
ED – “I’m getting back my ‘vette, cuz im Boba da Fett!”

Also known as: “It’s practical joke, no Fauchi?”
And also: “Look, the Millennium Falcon go ‘buurrr'”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 2:00:21)
After waiting for a long amount of time, Dustin and Jonn give their thoughts on the latest James Bond flick No Time To Die.
(0:00 – 1:20:10) Review: No Time To Die – After numerous delays due to the Covid and the unseen future of movie theaters for the past two years, both Dustin and Jonn get to see the last-for-certain-maybe flick of Daniel Craig as James Bond. Both had a great time with the film, and bring up many questions that the film laid out for the viewers with the biggest one: What will happen to James Bond in the future? This also goes into knife dealers at anime cons, the terribly comedic Leprechaun films, more Covid talk, Jonn seeing My Hero Academia in theaters, James Bond talk in general, Dustin winning Goldeneye on VHS in the 90’s, toxic comic culture, X-Men cartoon reboot, Star Wars, Adult Swim schedule talk and more.
(1:20:10 – 2:00:21) Closing Remarks: This was a majority of our thoughts on the at-then Rittenhouse trial and how our guess on what would happen were dead on. This gets into the death of Lowtax, Chris Chan talk and much more.
Music Selection:
OP – Adios, Mr. Bond…
ED – The Ballad of The Rittenhouse….
This show has:
Just think, there’s 8 movies of these in total…
