Sorry for the delay on getting out an episode, but after our hiatus in July, we are back with us talking about Anime Boston and Avengers: Endgame.
(0:00 – 1:12:20) Con Talk: Anime Boston 2019 – The excuse Dustin is going to give for nothing coming out for about two months is the fact that summer was busy for him to not sit down and edit something together, but that doesn’t mean we had nothing recorded. Here we have our recording from Cinco De Mayo to kick off our discussion about Anime Boston from audience member Cloud and his time at Anime Boston again. This includes talk about the new City Hunter movie, him going to panels, Steven Universe talk, people who get overly offended at conventions to complain about them on forums and much more.
(1:12:20 – 1:59:00) Avengers: Endgame Review – Seeing how this film has topped James Cameron Avatar for bestest biggest blockbuster spectacular film ever made, Jonn and Dustin go into the film and spoil things about it if you haven’t seen it yet, but that was over 3 months ago so you listener should’ve seen it by now.
(1:59:00 – 02:12:48) Closing Remarks – This one is pretty light but enough to garner some discussion on lowcows like Ghost and Chris Chan, our thoughts on that wonderful “just-came-out-of-a-time-machine-and-must-be-sent-back-to-1993” Sonic live action film, and some other interests to talk about per usual.

(0:00 – 47:25) Review: Aura Battler Dunbine – After a 3 year hiatus on this segment, we kick it off strong with another highly talked about Yoshiyuki Tomino series involving the world of Dunbine. We rate Tomino’s view on moms as a poor score since all women are always insane and no amount of Bright slapping can correct that action. This gets into how Dustin thought the series name came from this star, how Wings of Rean will be on our list of titles to talk about, but you can hear an already better review of that over at the AWO Podcast, Votoms talk, old anime to be licensed talk and more.

We rate Takahashi view on moms as a great score since part of this story plot is about getting your mom back from a creepy space conehead guy. This also includes the Shrek movie series, some bad review of Galiant on MAL, the Votoms series being released in the states, and much more.

What better way to kick off the start of 2018 with an anime that hardly no one has seen or even reviewed yet, because if you did know it, we’d have to kill you for knowing too much. This time we talk about High School Agent!
(0:00 – 43:15) Review: High School Agent – This is an anime with no Wikipedia entry, hardly nothing about it on MAL, and very little info on ANN. Only a lone fansub group has made it a priority to make this available online to whoever can find it. It’s so top secret, the UN might have to intervene in this podcast. It’s basically an OVA adaptation of a manga about a dumb high school kid who becomes a secret agent for the United Nations. Instead of stopping people behind genocide, world hunger and sex trafficking, its about stopping people who have priceless stones and neo-Nazis after Hitler’s gold. Those are way more serious international issues than what most people complain about, because High School Agent knows what’s really at stake in the world! This also includes talks about terrible commercial airline companies, how not to kill a bear, and what type of jungles exist in South America.
(43:15 – 1:41:52) Closing Remarks – This goes into the doxing of a troll gone too far towards Chris Chan, the recent American Government shutdown, Dustin pulls a cans.wav and almost breaks his headset from a birthday card, Ghost talk, past podcasts that no longer exists from Toonradio, Go Nagai shows to be remade other than Devilman Crybaby, the recent Jumanji movie and much more.

This lets us compare the Star Wars films to the Fast and Furious film series, how Jonn dog spoke up for animal rights on this film, how Disney can royally screw up a beloved science fiction series, and much more!
