It’s the last show of the year and of the decade, and it comes out hours before the ball drops into 2021! It’s a 3-in-1 bundle of episodes since the first two were supposed to come out during Christmas (which didn’t happen). Now you can enjoy listening to them at your lame New Years Eve party or getting over a hangover on New Years Day!
(0:00 – 1:59:20) ACT 1 – Our Gaming Episode that didn’t make it out in time for ThanksGaming – The excuse for our ThanksGaming and not having one was reasons of not having the time to do it. But hey, Dustin and Jonn talk about a plethora of games that came out in 2020 like Cyberpunk 2077, Mario 3D All Stars, Star Wars Squadrons, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and a few others. This also includes side banter and closing remarks talk of Peter Fay tweets, surviving Atlanta the night Biden got elected on the news, election results talk, Baked Alaska arrest and the world around streams and the IP2 community, RIP Shoutouts to Alex Trebek, Sean Connery to name a few that have passed away, and much more!
(1:59:20 – 3:42:22) ACT 2 – Our annual Star Wars something review of The Mandalorian Season 2 – Because of the entertainment empire of Disney and their golden calf of Star Wars titles to make, Dustin and Jonn go over the Mandalorian series and hit up more on the Star Wars universe. This also gets into a rant on Anita Sarkeesian, remembering when the Bleach fandom had their online meltdown, RIP Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bolloch and Goku voice actor Kirby Marrow, classic film talk such as Gone With The Wind and Metropolis, comedians, Sealab 2021, the upcoming Star Wars series from Disney, how Mega64 makes far superior Evangelion content, Dustin and hosting his AWA panel online (you can find that here on this Google Drive file because I’d rather not put on Youtube in fear of copyright, so enjoy! – Dustin) and much more!
(3:42:22 – 5:47:42) FINAL ACT – A somewhat review of Wonder Woman 84 with a platter of a bunch of nerd ramblings – Dustin, Jonn and Daft come on the mic to give their thoughts on the latest Wonder Woman film, but in reality like 30 or so minutes was spent talking about that movie while they would rather talk about anything and everything else that sidetracked the conversation. Included in this dish is sports talk, live action shows we were watching, Jonn and Daft trash on Looney Tunes Rabbit Run, how the 80’s have warn out its welcome in media, 90’s nostalgia, cartoon remake talks, comics, how it is watching Marvel films with your parents, the Christmas gifts we got this year, Daft explains Section 230 to Dustin, and much more! There’s also a zinger about some dumb 90’s show called Van Pires that Daft wants to review, which that’s something to look forward too!
Interlude 1 – Afroman gets no love during Christmas dawg!
Interlude 2 – Santa Claus didn’t die for your sins…
This episode has:

Yea Evangelion 4.0 just isn’t gonna be that good….

(0:00 – 54:40) E3 Talk – With the absence of Sony showing up, Dustin and Jonn took this year as a sign of “why should we even care?” But of course, there was some good to come from E3. This also goes into discussion about Final Fantasy 7 and the Final Fantasy world, Dustin views on Halo, Jonn mentions Harlan Ellison legacy, salty Power Rangers fans, upcoming game titles were looking forward too and much more!
(54:40 – 1:22:31) Closing Remarks – This was more anime related where Jonn talks about his memorable quotes from Ambassador Magma, Dustin was very entertained with Girls und Panzer, a brief talk on John Wick 3, Dustin brings out his inner American Idol talent to run that Ghost in the Shell SAC ending into the ground, Chris Chan news and much more!

We may be a date late and a Thanksgiving meal short, but what we miss we make up as your own Black Friday Special Episode!!
(0:00 – 27:40) Opening Remarks – Neither Jonn nor Dustin are being serious on staying with a plan, so a half-assed one was thrown in to discuss how dumb Middle School students can be, how Sentinel Island is the most anti-Globalist place on the planet (which of course brings into discussion if that is the best place to film the Live Action Johnny Quest film starring Mike “Race Bannon” Pence and Barron “Johnny” Trump), Ghost article on Kashoogi, Voltes V episode talk and much more.
(27:40 – 1:06:20) Video Games Talk – Jonn goes into what he’s been playing recently, which is going back to Super Mario Sunshine and Odyssey. Dustin gives his takes on Gundam Battle Ops 2, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, Final Fantasy 7, and Battlefield V. This gets into the real meat of the discussion on the state of video gaming (as in its way to damn easy!) This also towards the end gets into closing remarks when we start talking about our other guests jobs at the moment…
(1:06:20 – 2:07:10) Closing Remarks – As you can expect, this can’t be done without discussing the #DimensionalMerge that NEVER happened that Chris Chan would never admit too, Timbox being on the front page of ED, how honest Bill Maher can be about the death of Stan Lee, RIP Fred Patten, Proud Boys talk, discussion of porn in general, Laura Looming Doom on social media, politics on some scale and much more!
This show has:
Well, at least you know he’s being honest…
Well, at least you know he’s being a truthful person…
Behind the scenes of the upcoming Live Action Johnny Quest movie…
Also known as: “Yea Aisha Taylor, your the meme…. congrats!”

Every year in California, the Electronic Entertainment Expo becomes that milestone that video game fans look forward too to indicate that summer finally begins. This year was the year that dreams did come true to many fans across the globe, even dreams that us podcast hosts have been waiting for many years.
We really don’t need a time code for this episode, since we stay true to staying on topic on what happened at E3 this year. June 16th, 2015 will mark a milestone date for both Jonn and Zeonic as the day Shenmue 3 was announced that launched a hugely successful Kickstarter that even crashed Kickstarter themselves. This also gets us into talking about dreams coming true for Kingdom Hearts 3, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last Guardian, and much more. If you can’t tell already, (but let’s break it down for you again), that this podcast totally called out the idea of Shenmue coming to Kickstarter when we were talking with Lisle Wilkerson last year, so we are total trend setters of the gaming industry without anyone really knowing it.
This also gets us into discussing what happened during the other conferences (and how the HoloLens is just Strange Days tech come to life), the breakdown of the Nintendo World Championship 2015, Conkers Bad Fur Day talk, latest with Chris Chan and much more. Also, Josh gives his big plug for his personal blog at Cartoon Historian, where he spends a lot of time researching and writing about early American television animation that is largely forgotten about, and why you should care. He is basically becoming the next generation of Fred Patton without even knowing it.
This show has:
That was how I felt in that moment too…
So for anyone wanting to know what this game is about, let these drunken Irish developers tell you all about it…
Big question, does this game still hold up almost 2 decades later?
