No, this particular podcast isn’t 10 years old, we got a couple more years till that happens. This is to commemorate us doing podcasting for 10 years at this point in time going back to the old Kool Kids Klub Podcast days. No one has told us to stop, and if they did, we’re just not going to listen. Join Dustin, Jonn, Daft and Teewhy as we review Godzilla vs. Kong, the Zack Snyder Justice League Cut, and extended closing remarks.
(0:00 – 1:54:07) Review: Zack Snyder Justice League Cut – Yep, this another one of those supersized episodes we recorded over a couple of months. In this piece we have our discussion of the Justice League cut by Zack Snyder which turned out to be a far better film than the 2017 release. This gets us to talking about Daft and Dustin on keeping a log of things they
hoarde, er collect, how Canadian geese suck, the Darkman movie and other movies like it during the time, other Wizard of Oz renditions, which is worse: DC EU or Star Wars Sequels?, more Star Wars discussion, if Zach Snyder did a Dragonball Z Cut, the future of anime/fandom cons, porn parody film discussion, our days at Toon Radio and much more!
(1:54:07 – 3:40:15) Review: Godzilla vs. Kong – This was our recent recording to talk about as much as we could on this film, but also filled with other side banter. This includes how Dustin Cowboy Bebop Adult Swim recordings are circulating around the internet more, censorship on Toonami, the Dubs Time Forgot archive.org page, CN anime schedules on TV, Dairy Queen and the sketchy Indians that run them in your local town, Evangelion talk, Jonn and Daft talk about the new Tom and Jerry movie, the future of streaming services, Baby Yoda merch, Dustin passing out in his gaming chair, Space Jam 2 talk and much more.
(3:40:15 – 5:15:43) Extended Closing Remarks – A lot has happened to our main host Jonn and Dustin in the past couple of months, which a whole segment is dedicated to that just for the heck of it. This involves Jonn getting banned from Twitter for doing absolutely nothing, Dustin tells his journey through the maze of internet dating and the crazy women he meets along the way, the Ravi Zacharias controversy, COVID conspiracy discussion, Dustin getting a new ride, how doing outdoor escape rooms with dumb people is a terrible activity to do, RIP shoutouts, early Screw Attack content, going to awesome video stores in Asheville NC, Silent Mobius talk, how we are still podcasting 10 years later, Biden tripping up the stairs and much more!
OP1 – HERE THEY COME, LOOK OUT CHUM, IT’S THE JUSTICE LEAGUE!!
OP2 – Should’ve been the opening for this movie…
OP3 – 10 years after our first podcast episode, were still doing this….
ED – As Godzilla goes into the water, this tune plays in Dustin brain…

AoY Podcast #126 – Outlaws vs. Cowboys: The Bebop Stars of Space
Also known as: “The Beau Billingslea Power Hour on Toonami!”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 3:05:30)
We talk about the two biggest titans in the galaxay among anime fans in the early 2000’s, where we review Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop!
(0:00 – 45:40) Review: Outlaw Star – This podcast episode is the historic record of the pinnacle of what was important to anime fans on Cartoon Network starting from 2001 and beyond. Outlaw Star was a big anime among the viewers of Toonami, and Dustin heard about this show for years until he finally saw the series shown on Toonami recently for the first time. Both hosts Jonn and Dustin and special guest Daft chime in to talk about the overview of the series with some spoilers thrown in. This also includes how its vital importance that Jonn dad tells Jonn in the call that the dog is eating cheese off the floor, the stupidity of Transformers cartoons, Outlaw Star merch in America, FLCL revival talks, will Hamtaro be on Toonami for Aprils Fools Night? (as of this writing, Adult Swim showed FLCL Alternative subtitled on TV, followed by Mind Game, and a bunch of the regular block airing in the same format, because I’m writing this about 1am on April Fools night – Dustin), Toonami censorship on TV and much more.
(45:40 – 1:39:00) Review: Cowboy Bebop – This episode marks the 20th anniversary since the anime first aired on TV Tokyo, and how it later showed up that late summer on the new Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network in 2001. Both hosts recant how much of an impact Bebop has had on them as anime fans all these years later, including the merch that’s out there (you can find the pdf of the Bebop Anime Guides here at my blog – Dustin). This goes into account what particular episode got Dustin involved in Bebop, our top 3 Bebop episodes, the TV edits, and a whole lot more!
(1:39:00 – 3:05:30) Closing Remarks – This is chock full of material that covers for the month of March since we last recorded, including how Love that Goku got social services on his butt, Linkara leaving TGWTG and the twitter thread full of the company drama, Meson in dire need, the fully funded Kickstarter for Gunsmith Cats, The Toys That Made Us Netflix Documentary series, Dustin con talks on Toylanta and SC Comic Con, RIP Toys R Us/southern food stores/Return of KB Toys, the Mystery of Miami Mike finally solved by The Anime Nostalgia Podcast and the stupid weeaboo drama that follows on the ANN Forums, Dustin mentions his thoughts on Pacific Rim 2, and much more!
OP – The Outlaws of the Galaxy…
OP 2 – And the Cowboy’s who chase ’em…
ED – The Miami Mike Jam…

AoY Podcast #123 – High School Agent Review
Also known as: “I blame you Hallmark… You turned my dog into an Imperial Theme!”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 1:41:52)
What better way to kick off the start of 2018 with an anime that hardly no one has seen or even reviewed yet, because if you did know it, we’d have to kill you for knowing too much. This time we talk about High School Agent!
(0:00 – 43:15) Review: High School Agent – This is an anime with no Wikipedia entry, hardly nothing about it on MAL, and very little info on ANN. Only a lone fansub group has made it a priority to make this available online to whoever can find it. It’s so top secret, the UN might have to intervene in this podcast. It’s basically an OVA adaptation of a manga about a dumb high school kid who becomes a secret agent for the United Nations. Instead of stopping people behind genocide, world hunger and sex trafficking, its about stopping people who have priceless stones and neo-Nazis after Hitler’s gold. Those are way more serious international issues than what most people complain about, because High School Agent knows what’s really at stake in the world! This also includes talks about terrible commercial airline companies, how not to kill a bear, and what type of jungles exist in South America.
(43:15 – 1:41:52) Closing Remarks – This goes into the doxing of a troll gone too far towards Chris Chan, the recent American Government shutdown, Dustin pulls a cans.wav and almost breaks his headset from a birthday card, Ghost talk, past podcasts that no longer exists from Toonradio, Go Nagai shows to be remade other than Devilman Crybaby, the recent Jumanji movie and much more.
OP – This podcast will self destruct in 5 seconds to this annoying song…
ED – Take this airline job and shove it!

AoY Podcast #119 – Go Nagaiween Special (Go Nagai World Review)
Also known as: “This podcast is a turtle… awkward turtle…”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time- 1:38:19)
It’s that time of the year again where the Devilman brings good tidings and fear to Halloween, and bad comedy (should mention that hardly no editing has been done, so well just roll with it again to get this out on time – Dustin). This year we review CB Character Go Nagai World.
(0:00 – 1:07:25) Halloween Review: Go Nagai World – In keeping up with our hallows-eve tradition with the Devilman himself, this time we are joined by the more notable characters of Go Nagai that Devilman and the gang get to meet. This is an anime for the true Go Nagai fans out there, like those who own Super Deformed Double Feature because they are big ARTMIC fans. In this review we also go off the beaten path with “Dick”sploitation movies, Jeb Bush and his Turtles, what Dustin went as for Halloween, other Go Nagai properties (mainly Violence Jack, because that’s all that matters), our ideas of a Violence Jack video game, and much more.
(1:07:25 – 1:38:19) Closing Remarks – This was surprisingly short since this past month has been full of top headline stories, namely like how Chris Chan and his “Sweetheart” broke up, Dustin and Jonn thoughts on the world of Blade Runner, Toon Radio wont live again, how whoring out for cash like the rest of those YouTubers ain’t our style (not yet at least), and much more.
ED – Dicksploitation the Song…

AoY Podcast #95 – Gundam Evolve Review
Also known as: “Now your associating Gundam Wing with ‘Oops I did it again!’ in your mind?”
Download Episode HERE! (Total Time: 1:26:07 )
Because of RightStuf! efforts in putting out more Gundam, our podcast has gone through an evolutionary change with our review of Gundam Evolve.
(0:00 – 1:05:25) Review: Gundam Evolve – Our podcast has now evolved into the next stage in human nerdvolution. Gundam Evolve is 15 short films involving short side stories and what-was-then cool looking CGI 3D model effects from the early 2000’s. If you happen to be a big Gundam nerd, then this is up your ally to add to your collection. As per usual on the podcast, the review usually starts about 10 minutes after the recordings started, where Jonn and Dustin talk about the DVD cover of Super Gals! This only gives more ammunition to Dustin 1990’s memory of the only show on Nickalodeon that mattered, while both hosts go off the review grid a bit to mention the fall (and rise again) of Tokyopop, the stories behind Shin Matsunaga and Johnny Ridden, Dustin repressed 90’s pop music memories, Gundam sunglasses and much more. For a review of animated shorts after the 1990’s, this episode feels more like a 1990’s nostalgia trip than anything else.
(1:05:25 – 1:26:07) Closing Remarks – This time closing remarks are pretty short, where we mention our thoughts on the impact the Orlando Shooting had, American politics, Toon Radio stupidity, and more.
OP – Gundam is an Evolution not to be reckoned with…
ED – Oops, I guess I remembered the 90’s again…
