This idealy was supposed to come out before Christmas, then on Christmas Day maybe, but none of that happened. Dustin Christmas weekend was a s***show day to say the least. Our real Christmas special will come out on the next episode, which in turn is really our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of doing this. 10 years of failed promises, broken dreams, lowered expectations, and somewhere in the middle of that is a review of Japanese cartoons somewhat. This time its a con report from the end of October at Atlanta, so enjoy that!
(0:00 – 1:36:45) Con Report: Anime Weekend Atlanta 2022 – Chalk it up to laziness and loss time that back to back episode releases are just more con reports, but we’ll get it right for the next one im certain! Dustin comes back to regail his tale of the major anime con in Atlanta for our listeners. This gets into his invovlement in doing AMV stuff with AMV people, winning awards at AWA, settling some issues with people, Jonn discusses what he did that same weekend that wasn’t at UwUCon, crime and drugs in our local major cities, the haters on Twitter, what we got at the cons, how Dustin is now officially an uncle, Dustin impressions with seeing the latest Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan movie in theaters since the last time he saw a Gundam film in theaters (which was Char’s Counterattack), a quick overlook at 801 T.T.S Airbats anime, Cardcaptors en espanol, how Gundam is seriouz buzinezz!, first impressions of the latest Gundam Witch from Mercury series, what panels Dustin did at AWA this year, Discotek future releases were looking forward too, the Legacy of VegettoEX, passing out in room parties on a Saturday night, get buried in KISS merch, how AWA has a line and drinking problem, and much more!

This includes our quick thoughts on the American mid-Term elections since this was recorded before Nov. 8th, Responding to a Gatomatt Video, the Return of Brick, Elon early reign on Twitter as of last month, 90’s fads, and a few more things to boot!

(0:00 – 14:20) Review: The Watchmen Episode 9 – There really wasn’t too much to say on this episode, other than it ended rather nice compared to how it first started. This also goes into how time works in dreams which somehow leads to Inception being discussed.
(14:20 – ???) Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Review – This film was a pretty good way to end a film trilogy, which both Jonn and Dustin agreed. Dustin can also assure the audience that Disney is going to do what it does best; milk and screw over the golden calf beyond what it’s willing to give, because that is the Disney way to do things. We also throw in some side banter about how John McAfee likes big butts, and sure as hell won’t lie about that.
(??? – 1:27:47) Closing Remarks – This bleed into our Star Wars review at some point so its hard to say when it starts, but this gets into how Jonn confused Tom Clancy with Clancy Brown, both hosts game reviews of Zelda: Links Awakening and Final Fantasy 8, how putting test in video games is an incredibly stupid thing to do (because you’re gonna cheat on GameFaqs like what Dustin did in FF8), fan translation in games, Timbox renames his Tim Zarus movie, how Timbox and Gatomatt should team up on making a film, Dustin embarks his talk while in Texas to see family and names out landmarks and how Google Maps works, Plans for Dustin to run 3 Rivers Texas, and much more!

This is just a quick bonus to put out there till the next episode comes out. Against the judgement of Dustin and Jonn, both decided to do a commentary track to Dustin crappy Gundam Fan Films he made in high school between 2001/2002.
It’s pretty simple to set up, just click on the links below to pull up the movies, and play the podcast episode along with the video for the commentary track. Of course you could just watch the uploaded commentary tracks that are already on our Youtube channel to enjoy, because why put in the extra work. The audio of the commentary track is out there as a podcast episode in case no one wants to spend one second of their lives looking at the crap Dustin made 15 odd years ago, and he wouldn’t blame them.

We decide to resurrect the four horsemen of the pod-calypse, with returning guest Daft and our resident ex-Gundam/Evangelion fanboy Vekou, into reviewing Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.33: You Can (Not) Redo.
(0:00 – 52:15) A Long Time Coming Review: Evangelion 3.33 – It has been almost 5 years since the four of us sat down and talked about Evangelion 2.22 in the days when were were a bunch of Kool Kids in our little podcast Klub. Now fate has finally brought us together to talk about this movie IN THE MIGHTY ELTINGVILLE CLUB MANNER! Despite who may listen to this podcast, hardcore Evangelion fan or not, this review came the day after Dustin bought his bluray copy from Best Buy, and his thoughts and emotions on this movie are rather raw. This is all in the perspective in how we all first saw this film, which you may or may not agree with our opinions on that, and that’s fine. We don’t dive into great detail in the film, but we do try and clarify a few things the best we can. Also included in our discussion is how Dustin let his girlfriend see this film for the first time WITHOUT any prior knowledge to Evangelion, the Tony Takezaki Evangelion manga, Evangelion in general, Daft and his obsession with getting an Eva Unit 01 head, 4D Evangelion, and what the hell happened to Gainax?

Somewhere along the line, we stopped talking about Evangelion, and started to talk about; the documentary of Mr. Hands, Wings of Honneamise sequel, how Dustin knows crappy hentai titles, Miyazaki boxset w/ Studio Ghibli talk, the new Lupin show (PRONOUNCED “LEU-PAWN” NOT “LEU-PIN,” GET IT RIGHT!), The Funimation/Echolight Rick Santorum conspiracy, Power Rangers fan film, the Ballet of Stewie17, Chris Chan gets interviewed, RIP to Reese White and Joe Alaskey, how we were all dead wrong on the Carolina Panthers winning the Super Bowl (except Vekou), teens who buy overpriced anime crap and more.
