Mission… Accepted! The Gundam 90’s era isn’t over for us yet, and we have reached the halfway point where we dive into a world of TOTAL PACIFISM!! I’m talking about that Mobile Report Gundam Wing. Gundam Wing seems to be the Gundam show that introduced today’s American anime fans into Gundam (I myself included.) Some of them will die by this series as being the best thing they have ever seen. Well, we happen to say some choice words about this show, and sorta SPOIL it as well (again, from what we can best remember). We also use those choice words on the sequel Endless Waltz, and briefly mention the side manga’s off this show before ending things.
I should note, Andy and Jeff from the Daily Anime Podcast made all the episode screw-ups possible (which made it not a boring podcast episode).
Next time, we will make a brief Turn Around into another Gundam show.

AoY Podcast #9 – Mobile Fighter G Gundam Review (Gundam Month Pt 3 – Week Two)
Also known as: “Chicho Rodriguez, Nosotros Fightamos en Gundamos”
LET’S GET THINGS STARTED, AOY PODCAST ALL SET, READY… GO!!! You guessed it, we keep fighting our way to the top of the 1990’s Gundam AU series with none other than Mobile Fighter God Gundam. This was a show we gave a general discussion about, and of course, spoiled some things (as usual). But I assure you, there is still a lot more to this show that we didn’t cover (probably because we forgot about half of it maybe). After that, we talked about anime toys and gunpla for a bit before ending things off.

AoY Podcast #8: After War Gundam X Review (Gundam Month Pt 3 – Week One)
Also known as: ” The moon is A NEWTYPE!”
It’s March, and not only are you keeping up with the NCAA BeeBAWL tournament, but were keeping up with doing yet another Gundam month. This is our third Gundam month, so we know what were doing when it comes to talking about Gundam shows (of course, we can’t stick to a podcast name when we do one). This time we cover the 90’s AU Gundam series, and we start a bit out of order with After War Gundam X. To kick things off, we pretty much spoil the ending right off the bat, but then we talk about the rest for a half hour. After that, we just keep on talking about Gundam and anime in general to warm up for the rest of the month.
Next time should be our Mobile Fighter G Gundam review, pretty sure.

AoY Podcast #7 – Aliens: Colonial Marines Review
Also known as: “I say we take off and nuke this game from orbit…”
This week, I sit down and talk about my major malfunction about Gearbox latest (failure) game, Aliens: Colonial Marines. This is pretty much about an hour of me acting like a 5 year old who whined and complained to my co-host about how a game I have been looking forward too for so long, sucked more than it should. I should also mention that I give some SPOILERS about the game story, so if you haven’t played this game yet and you haven’t been influenced by the internet not to buy it, then don’t listen to this. We also talk briefly about the Alien movie series towards the end.

For our Valentine’s Day Single Awareness Day special, we bring on Geoffrey Tebbetts to discuss his contributing blog, Golden Ani. The blog is dedicated to the past 50 years of Japanese Animation, with written reviews by other anime bloggers/big kahunas out there. After a few questions to that, we get to our main topic, our “anime first loves,” where we talk about what anime’s we first fell in love with that really got us into anime. Geoffrey talks about Maison Ikkoku, my co-host Jonn and Josh talk about the glory days of Toonami programming shows that made them anime fans, and I bring up my personal favorite OVA “first love,” Sol Bianca.
