It’s per tradition that we release convention reports half a year after the con happened, because oh freaking well. So if your wanting someone to drone on about their time at a con that you weren’t at during a long holiday flight or drive, we got your covered!
(0:00 – 1:34:15) Animazement 2018 Con Report – Dustin regales his tale of a con that happened when the weather was a whole lot warmer, where the first time in years he is a regular con lackey roaming the hallways and not dealing with patrons in the dealers room. Stories can be told about hanging out with other Otaku he’s know about online and their posse, Dustin old parking job and the economics surrounding that industry, modifying your SNES, getting sweet swag from Limited Run Games on a yearly visit, trying to talk to women at the bar with a Salvador Dali art work on their back, the dreaded bootleg dealer came back, rednecks whining about stuff they don’t have in public restaurants, drunken dads that roam the cons and more. This also includes how we thought the Starbucks training lead to other problems, seeing a Steely Dan/Doobie Bros concert in Atlanta, video game and anime talk, and much more.
(1:34:15 – 02:25:29) Closing Remarks Part 1 – This is just the opinions of ours relating back in May, that people have already forgotten about but ohwellwhocaresanyways. This includes televangelists who buy jets in the name of Jesus and Christianity talk, hot takes on the news, how Rosanne got cancelled and much more.
(02:25:29 – 04:03:30) Anime Weekend Atlanta 2018 Con Report – If anything was lacking from Animazement, AWA made that up tenfold. Dustin recants his experience by hanging out with his buddy downtown to ride on electric scooters after eating some Pho’King amazing food, getting the correct panelist badge, meeting with old friends, meeting cool people like Tim Eldred, Micheal Sinterniklaas, Darius Washington and Andy Field, talking about panels done at the convention (which were titled Anime in High Gear, Christianity in Anime and Mobile Suit Gundam in America), buying Neil Nadelman old Gundam laserdiscs, getting the sweet hookup on Voltes V from Dave Merrill, getting to meet the Corn Pone man himself in person, people who have seizures at the con and how the staff handles that proper, Is Daryl Surat a Pokemon Seizure Episode Denier that it was ALL A CONSPIRACY? and more.
(04:03:30 – 04:29:48) Closing Remarks Part 2 – Somehow we get into closing remarks territory with the past pre-hearing of the Kavanaugh case, banned episodes of Pokemon, general anime and politics talk, people who had complaints on panels at AWA from an alt-right perspective and more.

Conspiracy?… you bet Sherlock. Daily Anime Podcast is still on the Legend of Galactic Heroes episode synopsis reviews, and it won’t be too long before you can own your copy of the entire series. Dave and Joel just recently put out an episode, except it’s not about Jojo’s this time, but vidjer gaemz.
(1:02:14 – 1:32:23) Spring Convention Report: Animazement 2015 Part B – This is where Zeonic gets into the “real” fun of Raleigh N.C. during the convention, where the ultimate destination is to get liquored up in secret bars across town, only to go hang out with your best podcast bud to record Indiegogo perks and show up to dating panels ran by immature high school kids. This also the part where Cloud starts to constantly sneeze for some reason, how dealers put in noise complaints over band practice next door, spending time helping friends out in the dealers room, the book in question I got signed, and where to get the best burger at a Wendy’s on the way home…
(1:32:23 – 2:04:46) Closing Remarks/The Nintendo 3DS Troubleshooting Podcast – Here we got into talking about us once again, doing an episode about our backstory, which mark my words will happen one day. Also, we find out that Chris(tine) Chan sprouts some bullcrap about how Sonichu’s are born and how he/she breast are now speakers at raves, meeting random drunk people on the streets of Raleigh to talk about anime with (and how Charlotte dun give a fuk!), and how we decide to waste time finding out our friend codes on a Nintendo 3DS, plus just talking about Pokemon for no reason.
