So for this years Thanksgiving special, we’ll talk about something we haven’t focused on in years, and that is an entire episode dedicated to video games. So join Dustin, Jonn and Josh to talk about Vidjer Gamez!
(0:00 – 01:26:10) Thanksgaming Special – This is a discussion mostly of what the podcast has been playing in our spare times when were not doing podcasts. Jonn and Josh talk extensively about the Nintendo Switch, Mario Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild. Josh mentions the new Sonic Forces and Mania games, and Dustin goes into Gundam Versus, Final Fantasy X, Friday the 13th: The Game, and Windjammers. Of course other topics arise like Star Wars games, EA being the worst lottery company in the world (followed by how long it would take to unlock their crap), Final Fantasy collections that might not come out, and some banter about how Dustin never talked about the con he went to nor anything about the SNES Classic.

Playing Games: Dreamcast Colony Drop’d the Gundam
This was something I got in the mail this past week from the guys over at Colony Drop, which one of them was selling some of his games on twitter and had this title in the photo that I picked up. Upon wanting to get this game for years now to add to my Dreamcast collection, it is not what I expected it to be. The first half of the video is me trying to look at gamefaqs.com to see what the heck to do on the one FAQ guide they have on this game, which led to me failing the first mission. I was able to get it the second time around, and then decided to just call it a day from there.

Even though this is an “anime” podcast, we do care about what is coming out in the video game world at this years E3 event. What you should also know about this event is that Zeonic did not care one bit about this years E3, because when you are stuck at an airport in Chicago for a day coming back from an overseas trip; having an event about stuff that your gonna see in storesin a few months should be the least of one persons worries. But Josh, Jonn and our guest known as “Tee Why” are able to step in and fill in what Zeonic missed out in this years E3 because of his jetlaggin layover from Japan. If anything, Zeonic is focused on the World Cup right now, because sports and stuff.
We pretty much stay on topic as Zeonic gets the post “inside” scoop of titles that he 90 precent doesn’t give a crap about. The gang talks about mostly what happened at the Nintendo panel/announcements, who won overall at the expo, and talking about games and technology in general. We also deviate from our discussion when it comes to the dangers of social media, picking fights with feminist on Twitter (actually no, this explains everything to you guys), thanking people who donated money to our cause (looking at you Trevor MCD. My bad on not mentioning your name in this episode, but we will give a shout out to you in the next episode for sure!), never getting around to talking about Zeonic trip to Japan, and all around talking about other things semi related.
