Closing remarks include more bible talk, Shenmue 3 and Shenmue in general, Comedy Central shows, out thoughts on Mandalorian episode one and much more.
Welcome to another episode of the OFFICIAL HBO Watchmen cast, because we wouldn’t want anyone else to go check out someone else’s official podcast on some other website. Both Dustin and Jonn share their thoughts on the latest episode, including sidebar talk on 35 year old women who want to be Twelve Forever. This also includes Closing Remarks on topics such as how Bloomburg is running for president, why Americans care about the British rule still today, Epstein conspiracy talk, getting over your ex, return of 8chan, the dangers of seeing the Joker movie, anime movies in theaters, anime on Cartoon Network and more.
Happy Halloween! Due to Dustin leaving for Anime Weekend Atlanta and other duties that have been going on, there is no Devilman this year. We do have a real Halloween special but that won’t be out till next week sometime, so stay tuned for that. But at least we got something to put out, and that’s Jonn and Dustin opinions on Watchmen.
This episode includes side banter talk about Blacks in Europe during wartime, the Truth behind Jessie Owens and Adolf Hitler, German films, Watchmen talk and more. Closing remarks goes deep into the Bible again on how Catholics are again pissed at the pope for false idols, John MacArthur v. Beth Moore, bible talk, politics, financial talk, and more!
NOTICE!!!! Speaking of Anime Weekend Atlanta, if you’re going to be there, Dustin will be doing two panels at the con. On Friday he’s got Anime At War: From the Beachheads to the Television Screens! at 12:30PM, and on Saturday we got Anime on Cartoon Network: An Overview History at Noon! So stop by and say hi and enjoy the panels!
This is just a ‘filler’ podcast episode sorts. Both Jonn and Dustin saw the HBO show and wanted to talk about it, so they did, for over and hour. Both host feel like as long as there’s episodes in this season, they might as well talk about it, right?
Dustin is not even a Watchmen fan and had a lot to say regarding the 1921 Tulsa Riots in this first episode for the shows backstory. Needless to say, this includes talk about Lou Gossett Jr., the Iron Eagle films and why Dustin is bound to them, Watchmen talk in general, and other nonsense. Closing Remarks are about Trump Impeachment, how Trump Butt has a twitter, twitter accounts for pets, Eckman’s Toy Show in San Antonio, couples and their need for pets or kids, the new Star Wars Trailer, and more!
We’ll be kicking off some reviews of series that have ended on Toonami recently, starting with our discussion about JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.
(0:00 – 53:10) Review: JoJo’s Time!! – With this Arc/Part/Season/Wutevahdehell you wanna call Diamond is Unbreakable, Dustin and Jonn try our best to recollect the past year in our parts of the series that stuck out to them while the series was airing on Toonami. As of this post, the new series Golden Wind will be airing on Toonami, so totally check that out! This also gets into discussions of Batman/Jim Carry 90’s movie talks, how college is bullcrap, the scoop on a wedding going down, and much more.
(53:10 – 2:00:03) Closing Remarks- It isn’t a proper closing remarks without some remarks on things that happened on the internet over a month ago.
